The Artistic Works of Vanessa Rondini

All I want to do with my life is make art, help others realize what that means and how they too can be part of this constant revolutionary movement. As an artist I feel it is my duty, if not purpose, to show the world how expressive, healing and impacting the gift of creativity can be. My aim with the photography, screen prints, painting and drawings I make is to give the viewer a glimpse into my innermost thoughts and moments of intense vulnerability/insecurity. I feel that humankind puts too much pressure on the need for perfection. I hope to show all my flaws and failures in the subjects of my work. But also the happiness found through accepting myself or simply “dealing” with the things I can’t. Specific areas of interest I am focusing on at this moment is femininity and how the public relates to empowerment and unity amongst its female population. This site holds mostly my old works at the moment, which are works based on the confusion of coming of age (as a women) and finding love in a world where people love mostly themselves and appearances along with preconceived notions of what is and should be between man and woman.
